They came up with 8 <br />points. Steve Vandiver read these ideas to us from a highly produced color brochure. <br />Essentially they were topics that have been discussed for consideration for some time! ! <br />Steve brought the RT attention to a seminar on Colorado Ground Water Management <br />Policy (passed out yellow brochure) on aquifer recharge. Vandiver will be making a <br />presentation on how it works in Valley. Encourage many to come. Steve has copies for MG. <br />MG - At the Consumptive Use meeting he attended there was discussion as to how the <br />Colorado River study relate to the needs assessments for the Round tables? 600,000 acre <br />feet are on the table. Also, he had failed to state that one other matter the Roundtables <br />should consider is the possible effect of climate change. The Governor has set up a task <br />force looking at climate change and its impacts. The work of that task force needs to be <br />rolled into the calculations for the timing of flows on rivers. We're already seeing the <br />effects of climate change here: Early runoff. How might climate change affect the issue <br />of supply? Also need to consider from an industry standpoint such as the sld industry, <br />going forward to 2050. <br />10.
