7. Report of IBCC Representatives <br />Ray-went to meeting in Montrose in June 19 - a lot of discussion re availability of <br />unappropriated water in Colorado systemsa caucus of 4 Roundtable representatives met to <br />look at what would be implications of a Call on the Colorado river and how issues in various <br />basins would deal with this-seemed like a good discussion and fit for the Roundtable's to <br />address. <br />Eric Hecox reviewed the Non-consumptive needs process. <br />Legislature changed Roundtable / IBCC / CWCB money availability time table-will end up <br />with more total funds but spread our over 5 years instead of the original 4 years. <br />Will be revisiting the criteria and funding nux-wants to get the Criteria Conunittee together and <br />look at streamlining criteria and then look at SB 179 funds allocation. <br />Stevere Education & Outreach working group-each Roundtable will have a page on web <br />site-Rita Cnunpton is head of that and need a coordinator and pictures, text etc. for that. Mike <br />G. said that Judy Lopez was already designated as the person for Rio Grande Basin. <br />8. Status of Basin-wide Reservoir Study <br />Mike G. -sent out inquiry to all reservoir companies-been trying to reach Kelly DiNatale about <br />that-will be meeting with reps and develop scope of work and funding request for that-Mike <br />will follow up on this. <br />9. Other Business <br />Mel Gupdated on upcoming 100 Years of SLV Reservoirs Celebration for July 23-25-the <br />tour guides ready for Reservoir tour-- #1 tour for RG has 26 signed upa few spots left. <br />Tickets for Banquet and Box Social went on sale yesterday-has tickets available - $16.00 at Inn <br />of Rio Grande -Justice Hobbs will be keynote speaker-- Box Social at Monte Vista Park $7.00. <br />DVD is done-will be shown Monday night with Rod Kuharich speaking <br />Fredreminder to address needs assessment for domestic. <br />Mike G-will be done within the Consumptive Needs Assessment Process. <br />Charlie-wants to represent his positive vote-why he would vote in favor of something that <br />might restrict building of housing developments-they do not bring economic benefits to the <br />vast percentage of commLUUty-need jobsis taking us at our word that we will not diminish <br />recreation aspects. <br />10.
