Will take a lot <br />of dialogue working on WSPA and Needs Assessments, then need to engage uz <br />cross-basin dialogue and aWIN/WIN situation. <br />- I will help facilitate these basin to basin discussions. <br />- W11at do we want Colorado to look like in 50 years? <br />• Eastern Plains <br />• Front Range <br />• Mountains <br />• San Luis Valley <br />- How does water tie into this? <br />- What can we do to make t11e state look the way we want it to look in 50 years? <br />- Honor Alan Hamel for efforts. <br />Questions for Harris Sherman: <br />How long do we need to wait to start talking about solutions? <br />How do we look at susta>lzable growth and land use? What can t11e IBCC and Rowzdtables <br />do with land use folks? <br />Harris Sherman: All want to see the state grow in a healthy way. When we look at <br />development proposals, we should be asking if we Have t11e water for these developments. As <br />roundtables look at needs assessments, they can address this. <br />Is Arkansas Basin trying to promulgate rules for a farm efficiency? We are sending more <br />water to Kansas and at the same tinge trying to get more CU out of our water. <br />Harris Sherman: Need to take a further look at ag efficiency, we also have interstate compacts. <br />Developed a friendship with Pocky Mountauz Land Use Institute; I would like to see you <br />there and some others at these meetings this spring. <br />Harris Sherman: Provide information to Eric Hecox <br />VY~r~ 2 <br />
