Dave Merritt: Conservation would come from our Municipal supply. Grand Junction and town <br />of Palisades is trying to develop a water conser~~ation ethic. Agriculture is also changing their <br />conservation ethic. <br />Severance tax update from Senator Gayle Swartz (State Senator) <br />Jim Isgar° As water people we have concerns over the construction fund and the perpetual base <br />account. Concerns about reducing money in construction fund. <br />Harris Sherman: It is important for IBCC to keep on this. Their proposals will impact the <br />CWCB's funding source. <br />Melinda Kassen: How are we going to stay on top of this with only 3 meetings in the next 8 <br />months? <br />Harris Sherman: It does not make sense to meet before January. <br />Jim Isgar: There are some proposals in legislature.
