<br />2. Community Notification of Pre-Scoping Activity <br /> <br />To initiate the Pre-Scoping effort an accurate contact information list was compiled. This list <br />was acquired from the Colorado State Map Modernization Management Support (MMMS) <br />Coordinator, Karen Price, who contacted each community's floodplain administrator and CEO. <br />See Appendix A for the listing of community contacts. Following this initial conversation, <br />questionnaires' regarding the community's mapping needs, ordinances, and available GIS data <br />were then distributed to the respective contacts within the community. It was requested that <br />these questionnaires be completed and returned no later than 30 days after receipt in order to <br />include the results in this Pre-Scoping report. To view copies of the returned questionnaires see <br />Appendix B. <br /> <br />3. Community Data <br /> <br />The Pre-Scoping process organized available relevant materials to facilitate efficient Scoping. <br />This work involved acquiring data from multiple sources in many formats. The data that was <br />gathered is summarized below for quick reference. More detailed information can be found in <br />the accompanying attachments. <br /> <br />3. 1. FIRM/FIS Reports <br />There is currently one FIS report in Teller County, for Teller County and the incorporated county <br />areas, Teller County and the incorporated areas all have Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs), <br />which they use as their flood hazard identification maps.
