While appropriate for planning purposes and comparison of alternatives, all
details of proposed drainage facilities should be evaluated in greater detail during final
design.

For retention facilities, 100-year, 24-hour duration storm runoff should be used as a
minimum design criteria wherever possible. The 100-year design volumes noted assume
that flows in excess of storm sewer capacity will be conveyed to the retention facilities
overland or by flowing in the street. Due to uncertainties in existing survey information
and existing street capacity, that assumption cannot be verified and it may not be feasible
to provide retention for the entire 100-year storm runoff. This should be evaluated during
future design efforts.

Nolte Associates,Inc.

18
