Basin-Wide Water Needs Assessments and IBCC's Role <br />Rick Brown presented on the statewide update and common technical platform. He described <br />how SWSI 1, SWSI 2 the Consumptive and Non-consumptive Supply Availability Study, Needs <br />Assessment Task Orders and Water Supply Reserve Account will be used to develop a statewide <br />update. This presentation is available on the website. <br />Melinda Kassei~: The Colorado Basin Study has huge implications for the South Platte and the <br />Arkansas. <br />Eric Hecox: Explained the statewide matrix. The Consumptive group sent out a survey to help <br />determine where time and resources should be spent. The Non-consumptive group will continue <br />to work with the Basin Roundtable on identifying non-consumptive attributes, determining <br />priorities, and quantification. <br />Dan Bitch: When is SWSI 2 report available? <br />RickBro~~~y~: November 14-15 CWCB Board Meeting <br />Eric Hecox: Also want to bring SWSI 2 to the Basin Roundtables. <br />Cap°I Trick: Recalculating the Gap date to the 2050 date or 2030 date? <br />Rick Bro~~~sz We sent the survey out to determine if we should go to 2050. We will not spend <br />too many resources doing it. There was also an update to the IPP's anticipated for the <br />recalculation of the Gap. <br />Kef~ Ne7rbecker: SWSI did a broad bn~sh of identification. So the Non-consumptive groups will <br />continue the identification process. Please add to the matrix. <br />Eric Hecox finished by explaining the role of the Supply Availability Study, Needs Assessment <br />and Water Supply Reserve Account. There is a mistake in the Supply Availability Study column <br />slide and this will be corrected. <br />Rick Brown: IBCC will have a role to provide input to Needs Assessment. <br />Melinda Kcrsset~: Put into a Gantt chart with schedule for next IBCC meeting. <br />Harris Shernaaj~: At the end of 2008 what will not be done? <br />Wavf~e L'andersch~rere: What is the purpose of the Consumptive Use Survey? How are we to <br />address the survey?
