According to dala produced by the Community Collaborative Rain and Hail Study
(CoeoRal IS), which is a science education project managed by the C()lorado Climate
Center at Colorado State University and driven by volunteer participants. tutal rainfall
amounts in the Pueblo area ranged from a trace up to 1.5 inches for May 5lh through the
6th. These reported rainfall amounts. as well as their respective locations in relation to
the County. arc shown in the above figure.

Several USGS gage stations arc located along Fountain Creck. Figures 1.6 shows a
USGS map of the gage locations in relation to the surrounding area. Figure 1.7 displays
the data for one of these gages and indicates that the creek had been running with about
400-cfs in the days preceding May ih. The median daily statistic discharge for this time
