We expect a three to ten day delivery window from there to the homes here in
the S. Metro/Douglas County/DCWRA area. So, the DVDs should be hitting houses
literally any day now. Yesterday I received a copy of the invoice from the vendor. I need
to confirm the postage receipt, and then I can send you an invoice. I hope to get to that
over the weekend. Along the way I've apprised Wendy Holmes at Douglas County and
Don Glaser at CFWE of progress towards the mailing date so that they could plan and
coordinate their communication and feedback efforts accordingly. We do have a website
live now, www.dcwater.orQ.ltincludes a PSA on the DVD. Check it out! (I hope we can
link to your site, and vice versa!)

As to the steps mentioned in the grant, we sent the original video material and art work to
the vendor. The art work, as well as the website, was designed in-house at Douglas
County. This includes the cover for the DVD disc itself, as well as the mailing box/cover
for the DVD. We also created and forwarded the digital files listing the single family
residences receiving the DVD. Labels were created by the vendor from these lists, the
DVDs were duplicated, the boxes were manufactured, the addresses were applied to the
boxes, and the completed packages were placed in the USPS system.

The professional communications staffers that work with the respective water providers
participated in meetings and conference calls set-up by Wendy to help finalize the image,
messaging, and lingo. The CWCS logo is featured prominently, and looks really nice.
These same individuals also coordinated on publicity efforts that are being carried out
amongst the individual water provider members of DCWRA in support of the distribution.
The local media was contacted, and a nice article was published in the local newspapers
that highlighted the coming of the distribution and the importance of reducing wasteful
outdoor landscaping practices to conserving water in our region. The article states that
the mission of DCWRA is "water resource conservation". DC-8 television sent the
program material to the vendor in a format that was acceptable for the duplication.
