<br />Project Name Tech review for Alluvial Fan Mapping <br />Performance Period 12/31/03 to 3/31/04 <br />Fiscal Year 04 <br />Amount $ 5830.00 <br /> <br />AGENCY Jd/J/& <br />ROUTING# tflYf'I'HJ 05U53 <br />CONTRACT# CI163~ <br /> <br />INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />AND <br />Colorado Geological Survey <br /> <br />WHEREAS, authority exists in the law and funds have been budgeted, appropriated and otherwise made <br />available and a sufficient unencumbered balance thereof remains available for payment in <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board, FUND NUMBER 481, AGENCY PDA, <br />ORGANIZATION YYYY, APPROPRIATION CODE 010, PROGRAM WTRC, <br />FUNCTION , OBJECT CODE .5 '1110 , GBL <br />PROJECT NUMBER , in the Interagency Agreement of i5830, <br />CONTRACT ENCUMBRANCE NUMBER C1539 if.3 ; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board will pay $5,830 to the Colorado Geological Survey <br />to provide technical review services for alluvial fan mapping and modeling on two 2002 wildfire areas <br />near Durango and Glenwood Springs. <br /> <br />; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Geological Survey will review alluvial fan debris flow modeling and mapping <br />results and commenting on two 2002 wildfire areas near Durango and Glenwood Springs. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed that: <br /> <br />A) Scope of Services. <br /> <br />1. FLO-2D model operation and inputs; search literature for examples of integrating geomorphic <br />and hydrologic-engineering approaches for alluvial fan floodplain management; initial <br />meetings with CWCB personnel <br /> <br />2. Conduct field assessments of all modeled alluvial fans in an area; this may involve several CGS <br />geologists at first to calibrate the main reviewer. Two field assessments would be made, one <br />for the Missionary Ridge area and one for the Coal Seam area <br /> <br />3. To discuss CGS suitability analyses of model inputs and results for all of the alluvial fans in the <br />area. There would be one CGS letter for the Missionary Ridge area, and one letter for the Coal <br />Seam area. <br /> <br />1 <br />
