I Army Corps of Engineers has initiated the floodplain delineation smdy for Coal <br />Creek through the city of Florence, Fremont County, Colorado, as authorized in the Letter <br />Agreement between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the State of Colorado, signed June <br />28, 2002. ThJ study is being performed under the Flood Plain Management Service Program, <br />I <br />authorized by iection 206 of the Flood Control Act of 1960. <br /> <br />The study cost is $49,700, of which $24,850 was received on August 8, 2002, to initiate the <br />study. As stiPE I ated in the Letter Agreement, we are providing a statement df:scrihing the work <br />accomplished d the remaining work to be performed. Following your review of the submitted <br />data, please re, it the remaining $24,850 so that we can complete the study without incurring a <br />delay to the sc1l1edule. <br /> <br />A copy o~the scope of work for the Coal Creek study is included for your convenience.
