Therefore, Labor Category Item No. 4.0, Hydrology, reflects only <br />the cost necessary to adjust the hydrologic model to produce peak flows at the necessary <br />concentration points within the city of Florence. <br /> <br />Labor Category Item No. 5.0, Hydraulics, reflects the time required to create the HEC- <br />RAS model for the study reach identified and to analyze and field check each flow path. <br />A site reconnaissance visit indicated that a portion of Coal Creek is contained within a <br />concrete channel and floodwall. The study contractor will analyze the floodwall in <br />accordance with FEMA criteria. Item No. 5.0 also includes the time necessary for the <br />study contractor to evaluate the existing HEC-2 model, ifthe model can be located. Item <br />No. 5.1, Profile Concurrence, indicates the time necessary to plot, label, and check the <br />profiles, and Item No. 7.0, Work Map Preparation, indicates the time necessary to plot <br />the floodplains. <br /> <br />The study will begin upon receipt of the tasking letter. The anticipated completion time <br />for the study is one year. The completion of the study within the scheduled time and <br />budget is dependent upon the timely receipt of the field survey data. <br /> <br />The costs in this estimate are based on July 2001 rates. The work performed will <br />conform to the FEMA Manual 37, Flood Insurance Study Guidelines and Specifications <br />for Study Contractors, dated January 1995. <br />
