<br />r <br />ec-- <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />102 Columbine Building <br />1845 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />R ~ ~\o ~ y ~ ~ Q R <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Soil Conservation Service, Denver, Colorado, <br /> <br />bas completed a flood plain information report for the Boxelder <br /> <br />Creek watersbed, Larimer County, Colorado: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said flood plain information report outlines <br /> <br />and describes the flood water rULoff channel within the above <br /> <br />described areas under present,conditions and for the conditions <br /> <br />that will exist upon completion of all the structural measures pro- <br /> <br />~' posed in the Boxelder Creek Watershed Project being developed by <br /> <br />e( - the Soil Conservation Service under authority of Public Law 566 as <br /> <br />amended: and <br /> <br />. .' <br /> <br />, : <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Art~cle 149-1-11(4), Colorado Revised Statutes <br /> <br />1963, requires that the Colorado Water Conservation Board designate <br /> <br />and approve storm or flood water runoff channels and to make such <br /> <br />designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdic- <br /> <br />tions: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 139-60-1, . Colorado Revised Statutes <br /> <br />1963, provides that such cities, to~ms, incorporated areas and <br /> <br />local jurisdictions shall provide zoning regulations for any storm <br /> <br />or flood water runoff channel only after designation and approval <br /> <br />by the Colorado Water Conservation Board: and <br /> <br />u <br />
