Most of the changes are from meetings held
by the Lower Basin Technical Committee, consisting of
representatives of Arizona, California, Nevada, and the Ten
Tribes Partnership. Other changes were made at the request of
the individual basin states, Arizona Power, and Reclamation
biologists to assess their particular interest.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

CRSSez was written under the direction of Mr. Alden Briggs,
Chief, Lower Colorado Region, River Operations Policy Branch, to
begin planning for banking studies that were to begin in 1992 for
the Colorado River Water Management Group. He and branch member
Bruce Williams were relied upon for guidance on modeling
procedures and evaluation of modeling results. Thanks to Mr.
John Redlinger of the Lower Colorado Region, Planning Branch for
many new ideas about operating strategies. Special thanks to Mr.
Bill Elder and Mr. Merle Tostrud on the staff of the Colorado
River Board of California for their review and suggestions for
preparing this manual.

Thanks,
Rod Carson, Author
