The cost of land treatment <br />on the Federal rangelands is esttmated to be $46,530. The Public Law <br />566 share will be $40,530 and other funds will amount to $6,000. The <br />cost of land treatment on privately-owned lands is estimated to be <br />$46,600. The Public Law 566 share will'be $3,000, and $43,600 will <br />be obtained from other funds. Cost-sharing assistance fram other <br />applicable Federal programs will be utilized in applying the land <br />treatment measures. <br /> <br />The cost of the floodwater-retarding structure is estimated to <br />be $389,036, of which $388,056 will be paid fram Public Law 566 funds. <br />This includes the cost of installation services estimated to be $84,888. <br />The required local or other cost, consisting of.the cost of land, <br />easements, and rights-of-way and the cost of admin:ls tering contracts, <br />is estimated to be $980. In addition, local interests will provide the <br />cost of operation and maintenance, estimated at $2,387 annually. <br /> <br />CONFORMANCE OF PLAN TO FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS <br /> <br />This project plan conforms to all Federal and State laws and <br />regulations and will have no known detrimental effects on any downstream <br />project that might be constructed in the future. .No new land will be <br />brought into agricultural production as a result of this project. <br /> <br />
