Methods utilized to develop <br />the estimates were presented previously in this document and are summarized below. <br /> <br />On a countywide basis, pertinent information was requested and obtained from local and <br />state floodplain/emergency managers through a survey of risk assessment. Additional <br />information was obtained from FEMA's Community Information System and was <br />supplemented with data obtained from FEMA's national Multi-hazard Map <br />Modernization Program. The Map Modernization Program compiled digital data into <br />a statewide base map database for use as a scoping and assessment tool, and to <br />facilitate flood hazard mapping activities. <br /> <br />31 <br />
