This pers on will spe nd one-h alf month w orking o n the pre ss releases, a ssisting w ith <br />promotion of the tow nhall mee tings, a nd other p roject r elated a ctivities . <br />Fortson - 0.50 month at an approximate salary and fringe of $5,000 = $2,500 <br />Travel <br />Tranel and Sharp will have t rav el expenses associated with project planning and coordination, attending <br />the four town hall meet ings, an d projec t review and eva luation. T hey will attend I BCC Public Education <br />Work Group meetings, Roundtable meetings, and coordination/planning and project review meeti ngs <br />with DNR and others. Some meetings will be attended by both Tranel and Sharp, wh ile other meeti ngs <br />will be attended only by Tranel or Sharp. Some travel is include d for othe r CSU Extensi on profe ssionals <br />(for example Reagan Waskom and James Pritchett) to speak at townhall or Roundtable meetings and <br />help plan parts of the Proje ct. <br />Townhall Meetings - 4,900 miles @ $0.39 = $1,911 <br />Townhall Meeting s - lodgi ng & pe r diem = $2,146 <br />All Other Meetings - 3,230 miles @ $0.39 = $1,260 <br />All Other Meetings - lodging & per diem = $1,223 <br />Other Di rect Cost s <br />Each of the four townhall meetings will cost $925, excluding any travel for spea kers and coordina tors. <br />Recorders will be used to record comments by the public, facilities and audio/visual equipment will be <br />rented, handouts prepared and copied, a nd promotion. <br />Recorders - 4 townhall meetings @ $275 = $1,100 <br />Facilities/Equip. Rent - 4 townhall meetings @ $250 = $1,000 <br />Handouts - 100 @ $8.00 = $ 800 <br />Promotion - 4 townhall meetings @ $200 = $ 800 <br />There will be miscellaneous copying costs for handouts at Roundtable meetings, program planning, a nd <br />other pr oject re lated ac tivities. <br />Copying - 3,000 pa ges @ $0.06 = $180 <br />In-D irect Cos ts <br />The state negotiated rate with Colorado State University f or off-campus PIs is 24.5 percent (24.5%) for <br />a total of $3,994 in in -direc t charg es. <br />
