Part III. Town hall M eetin gs <br />Colorado State Univ ersity Extension a nd inte re sted Ba sin Roundta bles will jo intly pilot townh all <br />meeti ngs at four lo catio ns throughout Colorado. These meetings will serve as f orums to educate the <br />public about the purposes and activities of the Roundtables and key wa ter issues pertinent to each water <br />basin. Additionally, meeting a ttendees will be provided opport unities to p rovide in put to the B asin <br />Roundtables and IBC C. Pu bl ic fe ed ba ck wo ul d b e r ec or de d b y a hired re corder and made availab le to <br />the Bas in Roundta bles, I BCC, and D epartme nt of Natu ral Resou rces. <br />Each townhall meeting will be advertised using newspaper article s, mailings by wate r user groups , CSU <br />Extension county office s, and othe r approp riate me ans. The townhall m eeting s will be piloted in four <br />location s. If the townhall meetings are deemed succe ssful (via consensus of CSU Extension, DNR, and <br />the piloting roundtab les), ad ditional to wnhall me etings may be held. Additional time spent by <br />Tranel a nd Sharp w ill be con sidered a part of their g eneral CSU Extension responsi bilities. <br />Tranel - 0.25 month at an approximate salary and fringe of $6,638 = $1,660 <br />Sharp - 0.25 month at an approximate salary and fringe of $6,880 = $1,720 <br />Coordination of the press rel eases w il l be the responsibility of L eigh Fortson (Extension Marketing <br />
