To use the new application form for a WSRA request <br /> <br />Need to submit their application in electronic format in Word or pdf <br /> <br /> <br />Rick walked the group through a handout, which redistributed funding with four options and <br />recommends Option 1 since fund is $6 million instead of $10 million for next year. <br /> <br />T. Wright Dickinson: Why is dema nd pattern the way it is? <br /> <br />Rick Brown: Nervous energy getting applications in by March, saving basin accounts for <br />projects that do not compete well for statewide monies. <br /> <br />Eric Hecox: BRTs are also seeing what the contractor can do under HB 1400. <br /> <br />Senator I sgar: Basins are pushing projects up to save their own money. <br /> <br />Marc Catlin: Small communities cannot afford an engineer using Basin Account to make <br />them more competitive funding smaller requests with Basin Account. <br /> <br />Bill Trampe: Not enough 1400 money for N eeds Assessment so reserved 1/3 of Basin <br />Account money for Needs Assessment. <br /> <br />Melinda Kassen: Basins are playing in a state - wide marketplace. Allocation may not <br />matter. <br /> <br />Doug Scott: We need to incentivise basins to have multiple basin requests. <br /> <br />Eric Hecox : Want to support cooperation within basins as well. <br /> <br />Mike Shimmin: Need to send enough money to statewide account. <br /> <br />Marc Catlin: What happened to the $4 million that is the real question? <br /> <br />T. Wright Dickinson: Wants to see more money at basin account leve l. <br /> <br />Darryl Steele: Stay with current criteria and guidelines. <br /> <br />Eric Wilkinson: Would have to start denying applications in March. Would like to see <br />statewide. <br /> <br />Senator Isgar: Option 1. <br /> <br />Jenny Russell: Concerns about Option 2. <br /> <br />T. Wright Dickinson: Statewid e account is capable of handling large projects. <br /> <br />Eric Hecox: Asked the group if the supported Option 1.
