Sunsetting Positions for 2007 Spring Meeting

Th€l positions which will be considered at the ~pcoming spring meeting are under Tab XYZ in
your briefing book for review. The position on rural water, position #259, may need some attention.
This would be taken up on the Water Resources Committee agenda.

Duane asked if the Council needed to do anything on this position given c!,1rrent legislative
efforts. Tony Willardson mentioned it may be effective if we had each of the Executive Committee
members sign a letter to the House asking them to act on the Senate Bill. Dave Pope suggested each
member sta',te may wish to drum up a little support in their own individual state. Norm Semanko stated it
would be advisable for the Council to send a letter and have each member state sign.

Duane said the Council would only need to update the current position, #259, and add a signatory
page for eac:h member state's Executive Committee member to sign. The resolution will be referred to
the Water Resources Committee.

There being no other matters, the meeting was adjourned.

F:\MINUTES\EXEC-06- WY. wpd

7
