<br />NOV-02-2 00 THU 10:13 AM NOLTE ASSOCIATES <br /> <br />FAX NO. 8702212415 <br /> <br />P. 02/07 <br /> <br />Scope of Services <br />Coal Creek Flood Protection Plan <br />Project Definition Phase <br /> <br />November 1, 2000 <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />The Town of Wellington wants to plan, design and construct a multi-objectivc project with a major <br />component being flood protection for the portion OftOWll within the Coal Creek Basin. As part of the <br />overaU project, the following scope of services outlines a list of tasks for completing the Coal Creek <br />Drainage Project, Feasibility Report, as required by the Colorado Water Conservation Board. <br /> <br />The Scope of Services meets the requirements for completing the floodplain and local dr'.tinage <br />portions of the overall project. As an outcome of the study, the following list of deliverable work <br />products will be prepared: <br /> <br />. A Feasibility Report that m.eet~ the requirements of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board, including definition of the project, feasible alternatives, estimates ofcost and <br />town financial information; <br /> <br />COAL CREEK FLOOD PROTECTION PLAN <br />PROJl:CT DEFINITION PHASE <br /> <br />Iutl-Scooing Meeting. Additional Services Related to Prior Efforts and Proiect Meetin~s <br /> <br />The N()heIEDRC team will conduct a project kick-off meeting to assist the Town in further defming <br />the scope of work and to outline clwmels ofcomrnumcation during the project. It is anticipated that <br />several entities will be represented at the meeting including: <br /> <br />1) The: Town of Wellington; <br />2) Representatives of Nolte/EDRC; <br />3) TbI, Colorado Water Conservation Board; and, <br />4) Other entities that the Town chooses to include. <br /> <br />At the ,kick-off meeting the team will make an infonnal presentation regarding the project schedulel <br />timing of the work products and the role oftbe project team and the To,",u in the project <br />develoJl'ment process. <br /> <br />NoltclEDRC will provide additiol1al services related to work perfonned under the October 15, 1999 <br />contrtu::t between No he Associates, lnc. and the Town ofWeJlington.
