<br />001983 <br /> <br />COST OF DIVERSION. CARRIAGE AND DELIVERY <br />2. (a) The Contractor agrees to pay $XXX.XX annually to the United States as <br />compensation for the carriage of non-project water. The first payment will be due upon <br />execution of this contract. Subsequent payments shall be made in advance on or before March 1 <br />of each year thereafter as long as this contract is in effect. <br />(b) Any receipts from the above payments will be recovered into the Department <br />of the Treasury to the credit of miscellaneous receipts., <br />(c) The Contractor agrees to pay annually to theDistnct a proportionate share of <br />the operation, maintenance and replacement charges for projec(works1is(~d to divert, carry, and <br />deliver private water. This Contract may be terminated on January 1 of any year by the mutual written <br />agreement of the parties hereto.
