The relationship of the Colorado River Compact to a future water storage proj- <br />ect in the study area will be described and incorporated into a technical memo. <br />randum on water demands prepared by CH2M HILL. <br /> <br />TASK 3.E-- TOTAL WATER DE~1J) PROJECTIONS <br /> <br />Purpose <br /> <br />To identify the individual and consolidated water demands (withdrawal, consumptive, <br />instream) that will be placed on the study area by the year 2010 and under ultimate <br />development conditions. <br /> <br />Approach <br /> <br />The study team will undenake the following activity: <br /> <br />1. Compile the recommendations for consumptive water demands for municipal, <br />industrial, and irrigation sectors and conclusions from Task 3 activities into a <br />technical memorandum to be reviewed by the TSC. Water demands incorporat- <br />ing those review comments and reflecting the consensus opinions of the TSC will <br />be presented to the P AG for their concurrence. <br /> <br />2. Describe environmental water needs at critical points (Deerlodge gage and inter- <br />mediate critical reaches on the main stem Yampa River) and at each of the <br />10 reservoir sites retained for further investigation. These recommendations will <br />be reviewed with the TSC and the P AG before proceeding with subsequent <br />tasks. <br /> <br />Products <br /> <br />The project team will produce the following: <br /> <br />1. Water demand requirements will be described and tabulated for use m <br />hydrologic analyses and the screening of alternative conceptual projects.
