<br />Meeting Support – Present Findings of SWSI Phase 2 <br />The Consultant will prepare information for each IBCRT from the S WSI Phase 2 TRTs, which <br />are as follows: <br /> Water Conservation and Efficiency <br /> <br />? <br /> Alternatives to Permanent Dry - up of Agricultural Lands <br /> <br />? <br /> Prioritizing and Quantifying Recreational and Environmental Needs <br /> <br />? <br />Addressing the Gap Including Alternatives <br /> <br />? <br />Assumptions/ Basis of Costs <br />Consultant wi ll prepare materials for eighteen ICBRT meetings two for each river basin . <br /> <br />? <br />The number of ICBRT meetings may be redistributed depending on the needs of the specific <br />basin and to provide coordination with ICBRT activities associ ated with HB 1177. <br />Summary of Deliverables <br />ICBRT PowerPoint presentations and meeting materials <br /> <br />? <br />Memoranda summarizing basin - specific issues assoc iated with each ICBRT with a focus on <br /> <br />? <br />updating the needs assessment for each basin. <br />Task 2: Develop Needs Asse ssment Reports for the South Platte and <br />Denver Metro Area <br />Purpose <br />The purposes of this task are to develop two separate needs assessment reports for the South <br />Platte and Metro Basins. Consultant will work with South Platte and Metro Roundtables to <br />prepare Needs asse ss ment reports. These reports will address basin priorities, inter - basin <br />issues as they arise, and negotiation tools. <br />Approach <br />T he Consultant will develop a consumptive water supply needs using SWSI demand data <br />based on the geographic boundaries for the Metro area outline in HB 1177 . The geographic <br />scale will be county and basin and level of detail annual demands and critical times of <br />drought. Basinwide non - consumptive water supply needs will utilize SWSI Phase 2 <br />environmental and recreation wor kgroup products and gap group products as they become <br />available. As part of the Supply Availability, Consultant will utilize available data to address <br />this. <br />The Consultant will work with both Roundtables to address the following issues: <br />Consumptive Use <br />M unicipal and Industrial <br />Population projections and how they relate to service area boundaries for specifically the <br /> <br />? <br />following counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Douglas, Elbert, Jefferson, and Teller <br />and the following specific jurisdictions that are bif urcated by the Metro Roundtable <br />boundary: Arvada, Aurora, Denver, Brighton, Broomfield, and Lochbuie. <br />Differences between state demographer data and individual water provider data. <br /> <br />? <br />Page 11 of 16 Pages <br />
