The roundtable would like a task order develop to address the following
refinements to SWSI:
1) Determine where the various providers may be looking at the same water as a
future supply. This task should include not only M&I providers but agricultural
providers as well. These studie s should quantify the amount of overlapping claims.
The roundtable recognizes that this competition for the same water can significantly
increase the gap between future supply and demand.
2) Conduct a detailed analysis of any "unappropriated water" in the Basin, including
the amount and location of such waters. This should also include a review of any
senior appropriation, if any, currently unutilized or under utilized.
?

9
L: \ CWCB IMAGING \ CALEB \ IBCC PROGRAM MATERIAL \ PROGRAM PLANNING BUDGET & CONTRACTS \ CONTRACTS \ CDM TECH ASSISTANCE CONTRACT \ TO 2007 - 003 - NEEDS ASSESSMENT
DEVELOPMENT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT \ PD705 - TO3 - V3 (2).DOC
