4-14 Senate Committee
Interviewer, Interviewee

Sellator Tochtrop: Yes, it just says selected from nominees, submitted by one or more

Sara DlIllcan: Right.

Sellator Tochtrop: State wide or nationally recognized environmentalist.

Sara DlIllcall: Yeah and the paragraph that before the all of the appointments says
that they must be a resident of the basin.

Chairman: Any fi.lrther questions for Ms. Duncan? See none. Thank you Sara.
I appreciate your testimony.

Sara DlIllcall: Thank you.

Chairman: Jen Boulton. Jen welcome to the Center of Agriculture Natural
Resources and Energy Committee, please state your name and who
you represent for the record and proceed.

Jell BOllltoll: Thank you, Mr. Chairman, members of the committee. My name
is Jen Boulton. I'm here today on behalf of Colorado Tribe
Unlimited and we are between positions at the moment. As the
Bill was introduced Tribe Unlimited had a number of significant
concerns with the Bill. We thank Senator Isgar, Representative
Penn and Speaker George for working closely with us. All but one
of those concerns have been addressed at this point, the last
remaining concern is addressed by amendment 26, which allows
environmental groups to submit names or nominate people who
will then be appointed by the members of the round table to serve
on the round table. It is our intent that those people will live
within the basin Senator Entz and with the adoption of that
amendment, our opposition is negated and we look forward to
continuing to work in the process and thank you and would be
happy to answer any questions.

Chairman: Any questions for Ms. Boulton? See none. Thank you.

Jell BOllItOIl: Thank you.

Chairmall: Margy Christiansen. Margy welcome to the Center of Agriculture
of Natural Resources and Energy Committee, please state your
name for the record, who you represent and proceed.

MaJ~fOJ Christiallsell: Thank you Mr. Chairman and committee, I'm Margy Christiansen
and I represent the City of Aurora. That's all I need to do for now
isn't it.

www.escriptionist.com Page 21 of 37
