I don't have an amendment, but I'm looking for a little bit
of clarification here, because Senator Isgar and I had a
conversation yesterday or this morning or sometime in the hour
about the -- whether these existing projects coming from the
interbasin ac tivities, yet there -- and Frank McNulty made a
comment here, if I wrote it down correctly, "Only for projects
coming from 1177 and Interbasin entities." But yet, this
amendment that was just passed has the words "but expressly not
limited to" and I think t hat's what you were concerned about.
Are you -- is that covered in your mind, Senator Isgar, to
the discussion that you and I had, that it would not be limited
to, that the CWCB could do projects if they so desired coming
from other than Interbasin entitie s?
Chairman Grossman:
Senator Isgar?
Senator Isgar:
I believe so, Senator Taylor.
Senator Taylor:
I mean, this wording.
Senator Isgar:
I think -- well, I know [unintelligible] and
what -- I think you and I can make sure that it is -- that the
wording is [uni ntelligible] what we want.
Senator Taylor:
Senator Entz?
Senator Entz:
Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
I'd put it on CWCB and the authority at large.
[Unintelligible] with that language.
- 34 -
