19) respect both sides in property ownership <br /> <br />20) equitability vs. adequacy <br /> <br />21) change/improve <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Jones worked with the committee to condense the list . <br /> <br />At the conclusion of the session, the draft vision statement composed <br />by the committee is as follows: <br /> <br />To ensure the equitable quality and quantity of water <br />supplies within the basin in a manner which enhances and <br />protects the economic, social and envi ronmental values of <br />the basin , while protecting private property interests, state <br />water laws, and promoting efficient use of the resource for <br />present and future generations. <br /> <br />Rachel Bogner will make changes to the original proposed statement <br />submitted by Mark Pifher and electronically deliver the file to the <br />committee. The committee is to view the revised drafted vision <br />statement and make any corrections or changes that they deem <br />necessary before the next committee meeting for discussion . <br /> <br />Chairman Sena i nvited Alan Ward to attend the next meeting to <br />continue his presentation on water exchanges and transfers since time <br />restraints did not allow for enough time for him to answer all questions <br />presented during the meeting. <br /> <br />Next meeting : <br />The next meeting will be held on Wednesday , November 8 , 2006 at <br />9 :00 AM at the PBWW office. <br /> <br />The committee me eting ended at approximately 12 :00 P M. <br /> <br />Arkansas Basin Round Table subcommittee: 3 of 3 <br />Interbasin Water Transfer Guidelines <br />October 11, 2006 <br />
