Arkansas Basin Roundtable subcommittee: Interbasin Water Transfer Guidelines Committee October 11 , 2006 – Minutes The Committee meeting of the Interbasin Water Transfer Guidelines th was held on Wednesday , October 11 , 2006 at 319 W 4 Street , Pueblo, CO 8100 3 . Committee Members Present : Gary Barber Mark Pifher Reeves Brown Lawrence Sena Virgil Cochran Dennis Smith Dan Henrichs Wayne Van d erschuere Leroy Mauch Frank Wallace Other Roundtable Members Present : Kevin Karney Terry Scanga M inute Recorder: Rachel Bogner Chairman Lawrence Sena opened the meetin g at 9 :00 AM on October 11, 2006 having Rachel Bogner complete the roll call of current members. First order of business on the Agenda was a presentation by Alan Ward on water transfers and exchanges. After Mr. Ward’s presentation there was a question and answer session. The next order of business on the Agenda was the discussion of vision statements. Chairman Sena introduced Gary Barber who had prepared a PowerPoint presentation to acc ompany his mission statement. After Mr. Barber had concluded his presentation, Reeves Brown suggested the committee use Gary Barber’s PowerPoint to meet the committee’s goals once a vision statement had been composed. Chairman Sena introduced Webster Jo nes of Aqua Engineering who would be facilitating the remainder of the meeting. Mr. Jones was hired by the Interbasin Compact Committee ( IBCC ) to assist with Arkansas Basin Round Table subcommittee: 1 of 3 Interbasin Water Transfer Guidelines October 11, 2006
