<br />. <br /> <br />presented information to the Board regarding trust fund recommendation <br />for the native species in the State. Additional recommendations from the <br />Division of Wildlife may be sent to the Board at the January 2001. This is <br />the CWCB's contribution to the recovery program for two years. Eric Kuhn <br />moved that the Board accept the staff recommendation. Patricia Wells <br />seconded the motiqn. It was unanimously accepted. (10-0) <br />....._310 <br /> <br />20. <br /> <br />Rio Grande Director's Report <br />Tape 3: Start/Stop: 4015 - 4541 <br />Action: Lewis Entz reported to the Board. Brian Hyde presented information to the <br />Board also. The Sand Dunes legislation passed and the president will sign <br />the .legislation on Thanksgiving Day. A basin meeting will be held in <br />Alamosa on December 21, 2000. This was an information item. No action <br />was taken. <br /> <br />21a. <br /> <br />Platte River Basin Issues - Denver Director's Report <br />Tape 3: Start/Stop: 4550 - 5380 <br />Action: Patricia Wells reported that the Moffat project had been completed. An <br />underground treatment reservoir is being developed and requires a <br />monolithic pour. She invited staff members and Board members to attend <br />the event. Denver Water is continuing to work with the Federal agencies <br />on a number of projects. This was an information item. No action was <br />taken. <br /> <br />21b. <br /> <br />Platte River Basin Issues - North Platte Director's Report <br />Tape 3: Start/Stop: <br />Action: Bob Burr reported on the activities in his basin area. <br />information item. Platte River Basin Issues - South Platte Director's Report <br />Tape 3: Start/Stop: 5471 - 6727 <br />Action: Eric Wilkinson reported that there had been basin meetings in Longmont, <br />Fairplay, and Sterling. He reported on the various issues at the locations. <br />This was an information item. No action was taken. <br /> <br />21 d. Status Report on Platte River Endangered Species Cooperative Agreement <br />Tape 3: Start/Stop: 6756 - 6996 <br />Tape 4: Start/Stop: 0001 - 2498 <br />Action: Kent Holsinger, EDO, and Rick Brown, CWCB staff member, presented <br />information to the Board. This was an information item. No action was <br />taken. <br /> <br />22a. Arkansas River Basin Issues - Arkansas Director's Report <br />Tape 4: Start/Stop: 2526 - 2970 <br />Action: Harold Miskel and Brian Hyde presented information concerning issues in <br />the Arkansas River Basin. Discussion and presentation on the Arkansas <br />Valley preferred storage options plan has been postponed until the January <br />2001 Board meeting.
