<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Flow rates for each event in question will be determined using the stream flow gages <br />operated along the river by State of Colorado, DISTRICT and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />If, during the progress of the work, CONTRACTOR discovers debris within the normal <br />debris removal limits that cannot be removed by a 5-ton winch, CONTRACTOR shall notify <br />DISTRICT for a determination of whether said debris is covered by this work item. If removal <br />of said debris is not covered by this work item, CONTRACTOR shall submit a proposal(s) to <br />complete the work in accordance with Section 4 of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The normal channel is defined as that area which is subjected to continuous low flows. <br />The normal debris remo.vallimits include the normal channel and areas as defined on the <br />accompanying drawings in these CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />All material removed from the work area shall become the property of the <br />CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the disposal of all debris/trash/litter <br />at legally licensed dump sites. Receipts from dump sites shall be provided by CONTRACTOR <br />to DISTRICT prior to payment for each completed segment of debris removal. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR will encounter several river construction projects within the routine <br />maintenance work limits. CONTRACTOR shall avoid these areas and deduct them from actual <br />work completed on monthly invoice. These areas shall be reported to and reviewed by the <br />DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE. <br /> <br />Measurement & Payment <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The method of measurement will be the quantity of channel cleaned, completed, and <br />accepted, in accordance with foregoing requirements and exhibits. <br /> <br />Payment for the accepted quantities of cleaned channel will be made at the contract unit <br />price per lineal foot. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />28 <br />
