<br />--DNR/CWCB/CDOW and Technical Contractor Team-assists basin <br />roundtables in completing their needs assessments; <br />--Non-consumptive Needs Assessments Steering Committee assists with <br />setting agendas, reviews work products and provides technical oversight to <br />process <br /> <br />. Products: <br />--GIS coverage representing CO's important environmental and <br />recreational attributes <br />--Map of Basin Roundtable prioritized areas and reaches <br />--Results of Basin roundtable directed quantification and implementation <br />strategies <br /> <br />. Roundtable Action item <br />--Membership of the non-consumptive work group was from three <br />sources: <br />--environmental and recreational representatives from each basin <br />roundtable <br />--members of the SWSI II Environmental and Recreational TR T <br />--other individual who expressed interest in participating <br />Question: Would our Basin Roundtable like for DNR to add anyone <br />else to the non-consumptive work group to represent your <br />roundtable? <br />--roundtable input is needed for each step of the process <br />--the process will be iterative <br />--Question: Would our roundtable like for DNR to work through the <br />full roundtable, a needs assessment committee or a non-consumptive <br />committee? <br />--Recommendation is that the technical support team-work with a needs <br />assessment committee that has broad representation. <br /> <br />Discussion: <br />Tom Iseman: Would urge others to join because we need diverse representation <br />on this subcommittee. <br />Bill Jerke: Do you want individuals or are you looking for reps of various <br />interests, i.e.: ag, water conservancy, etc. ... kind of checks and balances. <br />Iseman: Looking for more diverse representation than just environmental and <br />recreational interests. <br />Sasha Charney: How often are the meetings? <br />Iseman: See schedule: about 6 times over the year; <br />Bert Weaver: How about hydroelectric use; is this not a non-consumptive use? <br />Rick Brown: Yes, but we nalTowed this to environmental and recreation! <br />Bert Weaver: In Georgetown, we have oldest working hydroelectric; this is very <br />important because it is renewable. <br />Philo Shelton: Where does water quality fit? <br />Rick Brown: Limited, good question. <br /> <br />7 <br />
