Marylou Smith: Intro to facilitated discussion in the large group: what <br />we learned in small groups. <br />Short introductions of individuals in groups; <br />What did we find out about ourselves by listening to others in our group? <br />Bob Streeter: moved here in 65; impression of riparian areas and wildlife <br />Fred Walker: 3rd generation farmer; he didn't think ditch company did good <br />enough job.. .he is still at it. <br />John Metlie: Army brat living all over the world; found roots in ranching and <br />farming; values are to leave the world a better place. <br />Greg Cournahan: NE Ontario grown up; works with ducks unlimited; <br />Chuck Powell of Sedgwick County; farmer; started out as an irrigator; too <br />much work; dry land farmer; City Commissioner of Sedgwick City; not too <br />many farmers without grey hair anymore <br />Web Jones: retired past director of East Larimer water district; supplies 15000 <br />people; full time fisherman; wants to work to improve supplies; good <br />facilitator <br />Bill Ray: Deputy City Manager of Arvada; City Planning all over CO; <br />appointed to Metro Roundtable also <br />Bmce Gerk: one of younger farmers in Sedgwick County; farmer; people <br />from the west come out to shoot something or take something home with <br />them; usually don't leave anything <br />Richard Mann: Diversity of concerns among all of us interesting and <br />enlightening; <br />Tom Iseman: Boulder/Denverite; was a Park Ranger at Chatfield State Park; <br />Larry Howard: Loveland Water Engineer; past life in Southern CO; dad's <br />dream was to make it on the farm; all of see our problems workable if we <br />work together <br />Jim Powers: grew up in Central City; moved to Ft Morgan; teacher and City <br />County; in late 80s bought 3000 CBT water units and use them in Ft Morgan <br />Keven Ury: Denver Water Board; CO native; has worked with lots of <br />permitting issues and water quality; avid duck hunter <br />Bill Jerke: Weld County commissioner; served in CO General Assembly; <br />decades of experience in water matters; irrigator and farmer; German descent <br />from Russia; forbearers have been irrigating for thousands of years; tree <br />huggers; grows xmas trees; involved here because of his concern that we use <br />water wisely and also as a water right owner and that value of that asset is not <br />
