<br />I <br /> <br />If: <br /> <br />.-. <br /> <br />Scope of Services <br />Lower Arkansas Diversion Structure Inventory <br />Division 2 <br /> <br />Evaluate hydraulic and structural condition of raw water diversion structures along the main <br />stem of the Lower Arkansas River, from Pueblo to the State Line. 30 diversion structures are <br />assumed for estimating man-hours and fee estimate. <br /> <br />1) Research and planning - Complete by June 10th <br />a) Review data provided by CWCR <br />b) Plot the location of structures on USGS quad sheets and plan access routes. <br />2) Field inventory - visit each project site to make measurements, note structure condition and <br />take pictures. Tasks will include: <br />a) Field observation <br />b) Measure and sketch <br />c) Photographs <br />d) Notes regarding condition of the structure and needed repairs <br />Completed by June 15th, 2004 <br />3) Report - prepare a report summarizing procedure and work effort. Prepare conceptual repair <br />plan and conceptual level opinion of probable cost for each structure. The repair plan may be <br />in narrative andlor graphic form. The report will include: <br />a) Narrative describing inventory process <br />b) Location map <br />c) One-page summary for each structure <br />d) Structure field sketches <br />e) Photo log <br />f) Observation report <br />g) Conceptual repair plan (narrative andlor graphic) <br />h) Conceptual level opinion of probable cost to repair or replace <br />Complete by June 21, 2004 <br />4) Project coordination & meetings <br />a) Kick-off meeting (1) <br />b) Progress meeting (1) <br />c) Final review meeting (1) <br />5) Geographic Information System (G.I.S) - The data collected for each structure will be <br />entered into GIS using ARCView. The base maps used for the GIS will be from public <br />domain data that is readily available from the internet. The GIS database will include data for <br />each structure and an Adobe Acrobat PDF file that will be linked to the point designated for <br />each structure. Before starting to create the G.I.S. for all the structures, the information for 1 <br />structure will be finalized and agreed. <br />a) Database fields <br />i) Structure name <br />ii) Structure location (coordinate and latitude / longitude) <br />iii) Contacts and telephone number <br />iv) Access directions <br />v) Structure condition <br />vi) Other data that is agreed to before starting to create the database. This may include <br />information regarding future inspections, contacts with structure owners, loan <br />applications. <br />b) PDF file <br />
