We appreciate your accepting the application. We completed the field
investigations of the Lost Hunter and Sheepsdrive Reservoir sites and developed
tables of earthwork quantities and storage capacities for each site and are in
the process of preparing the Reconnaissance Report for each of those sites. We
recently discussed our findings with the Association and have already determined
that neither of those sites is appropriate for construction assistance from your
loan program. The Association hopes to do a small project on the Sheepsdrive
which should cost less than $40,000. They prefer to fund that project on their
own based on your group's suggestion that Board money is inappropriate for
projects of this size. The Lost Hunter project has been found to be too cost
prohibitive for the shareholders at this time. We are working with the US Forest
Service and the State Engineer on the Sheepsdrive project and hope to make those
improvements during the 1995 construction season.

The Association has requested that
their loan request for one year.
examine other potential sites for
summer and hopefully find a site
store additional water.

we notify you that they would like to postpone
The Association, working with us, hopes to
reservoir renovation and/or enlargement next
which would provide a cost effective way to

We appreciate your working with the Association in processing their loan
application quickly last fall and apologize for any inconvenience our request
to postpone the process one year has caused.
