<br />Needs Assessment <br /> <br />-group met with Kelly DiNatale re Needs Assessment <br />-started with SWSI-does more work need to be done? --thought it was fairly adequate <br />- discussion summary will be sent out to group-1 sentence items- <br />-need to further develop to create SOW's-also in development: are we asking <br />ourselves the right questions? <br />-role of storage <br />-use of RG Res for <br />-use of Res for noncu use <br />-ground water monitoring <br />-subdistrict issues <br />-refining info on hydraulic divide <br />- issue of counties having different land coding process (ie. No differentiation of how <br />land is irrigated-ground or surface)-need to create uniformity between assessors etc. <br />-appraisal process for sd's <br />-Terrace Res <br />-consolidation-rehab of diversion structures-per RG study <br />-having CDM help-re aug of wells for municipalities-what do well regs mean to them <br />-storage of water higher in basin-possibly develop a white paper re the various issues, <br />legal, compact, etc. <br />-refinement of ground water model <br /> <br />CDM will keep track of these - didn't discuss how these efforts might be funded-from <br />which accounts? Need to determine sponsors-TABOR issues-etc.-comes back to <br />prioritization and timing for going for competitive funds <br /> <br />Will draft a press release from RT to provide outreach to community re fund availability <br /> <br />Rio- discussion with SL V Wetlands-environmental aspects of all projects-resource to <br />group and projects <br /> <br />Mike W-project for <br /> <br />Ray-consider possible 0% interest loan for this and a series of grants to help repay <br /> <br />Mike-G-concern about how to continue funding for some on-going monitoring-have <br />CDM contract for it and then reimburse through RT fund <br /> <br />Other possible projects? <br /> <br />Travis- hope to finalize the RG Res multi-use study and present to RT in January- <br />District may make an application to competitive fund-Phase II-id'd alternatives and <br />non-consumptive issues-first study asked a lot of hypothetical questions-2nd phase <br />would be going forward on an enlargement, res rehab requirements, in stream flow <br />issues or what a res rehab looks like to meet multi-use needs-including PMF analysis <br /> <br />Page 9 of 11 <br /> <br />RGBRT <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />December 12, 2006 <br />
