Everyone <br />was asked to identify themselves when speaking since Curran may not know who is <br />addressing the roundtable. <br /> <br />Dirk Ramsey motioned to accept previous meeting minutes (03-27-2007); the motion was <br />seconded and passed. <br /> <br />Kirk Russell from the CWCB staff gave a presentation to promote the CWCB water <br />project loan program. Kirk explained his position and duties in the CWCB, which is <br />mainly marketing for the CWCB loan program. <br /> <br />Kirk presented on the background of the CWCB (15 directors and eight basins), mission <br />of CWCB (protect, conserve, and develop Colorado's water), and areas of responsibility <br />(conservation and drought planning, interstate compacts, instream flow, flood protection, <br />water supply planning and finance). <br /> <br />Kirk explained what the board looks like, from the state level down, and showed a map of <br />board representation broken up into state regions. Also explained where CWCB is in <br />relationship to the larger DNR and other agencies within DNR. CWCB works quite a bit <br />with division of water resources. <br /> <br />Kirk also gave an overview of the CWCB loan program, including: <br />
