Nicole Rowan was present on the call as well. Information
from that call includes the following:
. CDM was under contract as of the prior week.
. Susan reminded the group that CDM was to suppOli basin roundtables as funded by HB
179 basin and competitive accounts.
. She added that CWCB has additional funds from other programs that may be accessed if
necessary to address any questions submitted by the roundtables.
. CDM and CWCB will populate the matrix Nicole showed us and provide a
recommendation as to which funding stream should be utilized to meet requests, but if
the roundtables have a different opinion then we have the right to move forward to seek a
different funding source and move a project forward seeking a competitive grant.
. CDM is utilizing the North Platte Basin Roundtable minutes of the November 28 to
identify our projects/tasks and fill out the grid for our roundtable to consider.
. Regarding the basin account, the roundtables have jurisdiction of 1 M. CDM expects to
provide appx $40,000 level of effort per basin from appropriated funds.
. For the competitive grants, there is 5 M allotted and approximately 10 M expected in
requests.
. First round of competitive grants to be considered at March 7 CWCB (Ian 11, 2206
deadline for that funding cycle and July 7 to be considered for Sept 07 meeting.
. Basin account requests will be reviewed every other month.
. Projects will be set up on a contract arrangement with CWCB. Tabor restrictions my
come into play for some applicants.

Minutes from Nov 28, 2006 meeting were reviewed.
