<br />April 2, 2007 <br /> <br />Marc Catlin requested a show of hands as to which members would be in favor of the Overland <br />proposal as presented. Michelle Pierce obliged to reveal 20 in favor and I against. It was then <br />the consensus of the Roundtable members to invoke Section 8 of Article VII of the bylaws that <br />provide for Action by Written Consent of the Members. The members agreed to circulate a <br />resolution in favor of the Overland proposal for signature among the members present and via <br />email to those absent. The proposal will be considered approved if a minimum of 27 signatures <br />are received. Results will be announced at the next meeting. <br /> <br />4. Meeting Attendance <br />Attendance requirements for the Roundtable meetings and the problems caused by lack of <br />attendance were discussed. Several suggestions were made including the ability to send an <br />alternate or assign a proxy in a member's place. It was decided that the By-Laws Committee <br />would take these suggestions under advisement and return to the group with suggestions. <br /> <br />5. Education Liaison <br />The GBRT members present unanimously agreed that Pete Kasper should be assigned the <br />position of Education Liaison to the IBCe. Not being present, Pete had no chance to defend <br />himself! <br /> <br />Next Meeting <br />The next meeting of the Gunnison Basin Roundtable will be May 7, 2007. <br /> <br />Adiourn <br />There being no further business to come before the Roundtable, the meeting adjourned at 7:00 pm. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Mike Berry, Recorder <br /> <br />4 <br />
