Introduction of guests was conducted. <br /> <br />Educational Presentation - Grand Mesa Water Proiect <br />Tom Huerkamp introduced the Grand Mesa Water Project and Dena Sheriff of the Grand Mesa <br />Water Task Force - Delta Area Development. The Study was prepared for the Surface Creek area <br />water availability and needs with a goal of delivering untreated water for irrigation which will <br />relieve the burden on the area domestic water providers. Dena Sheriff made a presentation of the <br />findings of the pre-feasibility analysis and concept of the project to date. Some of the components <br />proposed include an upper level reservoir, Gunnison River pump station, hydropower, and <br />interconnected projects. At this point funding is needed for the feasibility study for the first phase. <br />Discussion, questions, and answers followed. <br /> <br />2 <br />
