Cost Estimate The Cortez Office of the NRCS has prepared preliminary engineering designs and construction estimates for the Project. The NRCS Preliminary Design report and detailed cost estimate appear as Exhibit X. NRCS has completed the plan and environmental assessment at no cost to the Company (p tp$j q 41..-- _ J..-D7.. l \A, rp-z'3 The estimated cost of the project is $~30% or $!J2r23S of which is engineering cost born by NRCS and the remaining $574,118 is subject to 75% cost share by NRCS. This leaves approximately $~fo be paid by the Members. ~ Z~/"9.:3 Implementation Schedule Harward Irrigation Systems is expected to complete the final design by midsummer, 2005. Construction is expected to begin October, 2005 and move to completion in phases during 2005 and 2006. Permitting All easements and rights of way have been verbally secured. The Company expects to be exempt from 404 permitting by Statutory exemption, 33 CFR Section 323.4(a) 3. This will be confirmed by the Army Corps of Engineers. Institutional Considerations Entities that are, or may be involved in the design, construction and financing of the project include: >- Number Six Ditch Company, Inc.
