The NRCS Preliminary Design report and detailed cost estimate <br /> <br />appear as Exhibit X. NRCS has completed the plan and environmental assessment at no cost <br /> <br />to the Company (p tp$j q 41..-- _ J..-D7.. l \A, rp-z'3 <br />The estimated cost of the project is $~30% or $!J2r23S of which is engineering <br /> <br />cost born by NRCS and the remaining $574,118 is subject to 75% cost share by NRCS. <br /> <br />This leaves approximately $~fo be paid by the Members. <br />~ Z~/"9.:3 <br /> <br />Implementation Schedule <br />Harward Irrigation Systems is expected to complete the final design by midsummer, 2005. <br />Construction is expected to begin October, 2005 and move to completion in phases during 2005 <br />and 2006. <br /> <br />Permitting <br />All easements and rights of way have been verbally secured. The Company expects to be <br />exempt from 404 permitting by Statutory exemption, 33 CFR Section 323.4(a) 3. This will be <br />confirmed by the Army Corps of Engineers. <br /> <br />Institutional Considerations <br />Entities that are, or may be involved in the design, construction and financing of the project <br />include: <br />>- Number Six Ditch Company, Inc. (the consolidation of the former Boss and Number Six <br />Ditch Companies) financing, construction, construction supervision and project <br />management. <br />
