<br />4. No motions were voted upon. However, the CBRT members discussed and stated its <br />strong belief that a basin wide needs assessment is needed. <br /> <br />November 27.2006 <br /> <br />1. The CBRT approved unanimously a motion by Lane Wyatt that CDM prepare a non- <br />consumptive needs assessment of the Colorado River basin. <br /> <br />2. The CBRT approved unanimously a motion by Lurline Curry that the CBRT join the <br />Arkansas, Denver Metro, and South Platte roundtables in requesting that SB 179 funds be <br />used for a 10825 Water nonconsumptive needs assessment. <br /> <br />3. Tom Pitts, P.E., water user's representative for the Upper Colorado River Endangered <br />Fish Recovery Program, discussed minimum stream flow requirements to protect <br />endangered fish in the Colorado River through Garfield and Mesa Counties. <br /> <br />4. Tim Sarmo, Town Manager of Palisade, and Pete Atkinson ofW ATER, requested <br />$100,000 from SB 179 to fund the Palisade whitewater park at the Price Stubbs roller <br />dam just upstream of Palisade on the Colorado River.
