<br />Eric Kuhn <br /> <br />1. Gunnison: The Gunnison R T is carrying on an aggressive educational effort. Rick <br />Brown, SWSI. The Bylaws are finished. We now want to educate members <br />before substantive discussion of water issues in the Gunnison Basin take place. <br /> <br />2. Yampa/White River: Yampa/White River is also carrying on an education effort. <br />The White River is now heavily impacted by water for energy development. <br />SWSI ignored the energy demands on water on the Western Slope. This will <br />impact what happens in the Rifle/Silt corridor. The White River is located <br />between the Colorado and Yampa Rivers. <br /> <br />Eric Hecox <br /> <br />1. Rio Grande: The Rio Grande like Gunnison is carrying on an aggressive <br />educational effort. The Division Engineer discussed the Rio Grande Company at <br />the last meeting. <br /> <br />2. South Platte: Received SWSI presentation at the last meeting. We will get Dr. <br />Kathleen's presentation and we received this in January 2006. Mary Lou Smith, a <br />professional facilitator, will talk about "How to Turn Conflict into Win Win <br />Dialogues." <br /> <br />3. North Platte: No regular meeting was scheduled because it is calving season. <br /> <br />John Redifer, CWCB <br /> <br />Lane Wyett, 10/14/04 SWSI letter <br /> <br />Colorado IBCC RT Meeting May 22,2006 <br /> <br />Linda Venturoni will speak at the May meeting on the following topics: <br /> <br />Demographic studies in NWCOG area-upstream of Glenwood Springs in the <br />Colorado, Eagle and Roaring Fork River drainages. <br /> <br />Drivers that will push development and water use in the future. <br /> <br />Growth in worker needs that will affect availability of EEC. <br /> <br />Rick Brown could talk about SWSI.
