Stan Cazier takes <br />the vote: Those in favor of telephonic meetings: 2 votes. Those not in favor: majority of vote. <br /> <br />It was decided that there will be no telephonic meetings. <br /> <br />Article VIII - Roundtable Powers, Section 1., Inter-basin Compacts. Mark Fuller's comments <br />taken care of by previous section on voting. <br /> <br />Article VIII (cont.), Section 2. Mark Fuller's comments on Section 2(A) to be included re <br />provision to remove IBCC representative. <br /> <br />Mr. Cazier: With respect to Section 2(B), do we stay with (B) language or do we limit further <br />the authority and/or ability ofIBCC representative to only this language <br /> <br />Mr. Cazier takes the vote: Those in favor of (B) language as written: received majority of votes. <br />More limitations - 2 votes. No to suggested change to Section 2(B). <br /> <br />Rose Ann Sullivan questions term length of IBCC representatives appointment. Chris Treese <br />said their functional life ends when they send a charter on to the legislature. <br /> <br />Article VIII (cont.), Section 3. - Basin-Wide Water Needs Assessment. Addition to Paragraph <br />(A) suggested by Lurline Curran re this section should recognize the local permitting <br />requirements. <br /> <br />Discussion was had and it was agreed the language should be incorporated, but suggested the <br />change from "local" to "applicable" permitting be made. <br /> <br />The addition of Lurline Curran's suggested language, with "applicable" instead of "local" <br />permitting requirements accepted by majority of vote. Note: Put change in paragraph 3( c) <br />instead of3(a). <br /> <br />Vote: Majority approved change <br />Opposed: 6 <br /> <br />Rose Ann Sullivan proposes expanded language beyond (Article III - Definitions, Page 4, def. <br />3.9) what is already contained. Add: after other local and regional water supplies.... "and studies <br />addressing the environmental, economic....." <br /> <br />No objections. Rose Ann Sullivan's language to be added to def. 3.9. <br /> <br />Article VIII -Voting Members, Section 4. Discussion of Mark Fuller's and Lurline Curran's <br />comments. <br />
