Damage estimates were revised to reflect <br />current values. Applicable sections from the report will be included in the appendix of the <br />report. Larimer and Weld Irrigation Company estimates they lose annually approximately <br />5,000 acre-feet of water which can't be utilized in Douglas Reservoir. See comment <br />responses for questions Number 9 and 14. <br /> <br />Q18: The discussion of project funding alternatives on pages 12 - 14 could be reduced, as could <br />the description of the selected funding alternative on pages 15 and 16. <br /> <br />R18: See comment response to Question Number 2. <br /> <br />Q19: In the last paragraph on page 16, more information is needed regarding the properties to be <br />acquired for the project. How much land is needed and what are the estimated costs? <br /> <br />R19: For the purposes of this cost estimate, we have assumed $5,000 per acre for purchase of <br />property and $2,500 per acre for a flood easement.
