Historic annual Lake Canal diversions from the Poudre River.

lake Canal Reservoir Company Water Riahts

Lake Canal Reservoir Company operates a system of four reservoirs. North Gray
Reservoir, South Gray Reservoir, and Gray Reservoir #3 are above the Lake Canal
service area and have decreed storage capacities of 285 AF, 885 AF, and 110 AF
respectively. Water from these three reservoirs is released to Boxelder Creek and then
redirected into Lake Canal. The fourth reservoir, Lake Canal Reservoir #1, is located
within the Lake Canal service area and has a decreed storage capacity of 800 AF.

The total decreed storage capacity of these reservoirs is 2,080 AF per year. The total
number of outstanding shares is 160, so the annual historic yield based on decreed
capacity could be upwards of 13 acre feet per share. This estimate of yield is likely
generous because it is based on reservoir capacity prior to reservoir siltation, which has
occurred gradually over many years. A more realistic estimate of useful storage is
probably closer to 1,280 AF or 8 acre feet per share; however 2,080 AF still represents
the potential storage in these reservoirs if accumulated sediments are removed.

Cache la Poudre Reservoir Company (aka Timnath Reservoir) Water Riahts

Lake Canal shareholders own 370 to 375 shares of Cache la Poudre Reservoir
Company stock which has an average annual yield of approximately 3 acre feet per

Aqua Engineering, Inc.
June 7, 2004

Canal Modernization Feasibility Study
-4-
