Roundtable members must have been given the opportunity to be present at the meeting at <br />which the vote to shift decision - making procedures is taken and properly notified of the <br />proposed action. If a seventy - five percent majority of the Roundtable members attending t he <br />meeting do not approve changing the decision - making process deliberation may continue. <br /> <br /> C. Voting as fall back. If a seventy - five percent majority of the Roundtable members attending <br />the meeting vote to shift the Roundtable’s decision - making process to voting, a decision by <br />vote may be made at the next regularly - scheduled Roundtable meeting. An agreement will be <br />considered to have been reached if a seventy - five percent majority of Roundtable members <br />attending the meeting vote in favor of the proposal on the table. All Roundtable members <br />must have been given the opportunity to be present at the meeting at which the vote is taken <br />and properly notified of the proposed action. Following the vote, majority and minority <br />reports will be prepared. Reports will i ndicate the number of Roundtable members that <br />support each view. Reports will be made available to the general public. <br /> <br />Section 2. Administrative Decisions . So long as a quorum is established, decisions regarding the <br />ordinary business of the Roundtable m ay be made by a vote of a majority of m embers present. Such <br />administrative decisions include, without limitation: <br /> A. Approval of agenda <br /> B. Approval of minutes <br /> C. Motions for a recess <br /> D. Scheduling of future meetings <br /> E. Motions to lay aside temp orarily (to table) <br /> F. Motions to take a matter from the table <br /> G. Motions to postpone to a certain time <br /> H. Motions to refer to a committee <br /> I. Motions to bring a matter before the Roundtable <br /> J. Motions to adjourn the meeting <br /> K. Motions calling for a ballot to remove a m ember <br /> L. Motions calling for a ballot to remove a m ember from a position of Roundtable <br />l eadership <br /> <br />Section 3. Disclosure of Interests . The validity of consensus is derived from the collective <br />understanding of each m ember concerning bo th the issue and the perspective of fellow m embers on <br />that issue. Members may have interests other than those for which they have been appointed or <br />elected to the Roundtable and these may influence how the m ember stands and presents positions on <br />issues.
