Fountain Creek Watershed Vision Task Force

The mission of the Fountain Creek Vision Task Force is to prepare a comprehensive strategic
plan for the Fountain Creek Watershed. This plan will incorporate and address all of the
planning, scientific, and visioning documents. The Task Force will then build on these documents
to create a shared vision for specific actions that participating entities can make in order realize
the shared vision. This effort was initiated by EI Paso County and the first meeting was held in
July 2006 at the Bear Creek Nature Center.

compiled into the Fountain Creek Activitv Matrix (.pdf).
This matrix lists the goals, activities and status of all ongoing and completed projects in the
watershed pertaining to water quality, water quantity, environmental resource issues and land use
planning. This matrix has been used to determine integration between projects, possible gaps
