<br />., <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Fountain Creek Vision Task Force <br />Process Framework <br /> <br />Mission and Ob1ectives <br />The mission ofthe Fountain Creek Vision Task Force is to prepare a comprehensive strategic plan <br />for the Fountain Creek watershed. This plan will incorporate and address other planning, scientific, <br />and visioning documents, but it will also build on them to create a shared vision and layout a plan <br />of specific actions the participating entities can take to begin to realize the shared vision for the <br />Fountain Creek. <br /> <br />Some elements of this plan will include: <br />. Input from the public and from relevant public agencies <br />. Identification of key issues <br />. Strategic planning, with specific actions and deadlines <br />. Implementation planning, including fundraising <br />. Public outreach to share plan and get feedback <br />. Intersection and interaction with other planning processes, scientific studies, etc. (some of <br />these other plans and processes are listed below) <br /> <br />Structure Ideas <br />. The full Fountain Creek Vision Watershed Task Force <br />o The Task Force is large and open to anyone who is interested in participating. It <br />includes representatives from: <br />. Local governments and agencies, including towns, cities, counties, and <br />utilities <br />· State government agencies <br />. Federal government agencies, including the military <br />. Citizens and landowners, who may be directly and/or indirectly affected <br />· Environmental organizations <br />· Land conservation organizations <br />· Members of Colorado's congressional delegation <br />o The Task Force will meet at least quarterly to hear reports from the Consensus <br />Committee and Working Groups. <br />o The Task Force will be the primary venue for people who are not involved in <br />working groups or the Consensus Committee to hear what has been discussed and to <br />provide input into the process. <br /> <br />. Consensus Committee <br />o Although anyone who is interested in the issues surrounding the Fountain Creek may <br />join the Task Force and attend meetings, the Consensus Committee of the Fountain <br />Creek Task Force is the decision-making body. <br />o The Consensus Committee is a representative group of 28 individuals, interests, <br />agencies, and organizations that will meet monthly and make decisions by consensus <br />with the help of a professional and/or trained facilitator. <br />o The Consensus Committee will receive monthly reports from working groups and <br />will report back to the full Task Force. <br />
