The project was a mulUal endeavor between
the Little Thompson Water District and the CentrJI Weld County Water District. The two
District's water supply is solely from Carter Lake. and prior 10 the construction of Dry Creek, it was
the only storage available on their systems. This resulted in the District's inability to store their full
water right in wet years and Jell them short of water in drought years. The new 9,000 acre-foot
reservoir. with a dam length of 4,820-feet at a height of55-fect, allows the District's to gravity fill
the reservoir from Carter Lake and then pump back to the Carter Lake Filter Plant when there is a
need.

Proiect Uata

Sponsor: Central Weld County Water District

Count~': Larimer

W,lIer Sourcc: CBT

Terms of LOlln: S4,994,955@3.60% for 20-years.
$3,937.500@4.05% for 20-years

Subslanlial Complelion [>.lIe: May I, 2007
Subsr:lIllial Comlllt'lion Date: May 1,2007

nt.'sign Engint'er: Boyle Engineering.lnc, - Lakewood, CO

Construction Conlractor: R.E.
